The flagship event of World Sevens rugby is the HONG KONG SEVENS, the oldest and most popular event ! The first event was hosted in 1976 and with the increased popularity the stadium now has a capacity of 40 000. This event, staged in the vibrant city of Hong Kong , a city that never sleeps, completes the picture of the ultimate experience for any sport loving fan.

Many reunions of old friendships, the beginning of new friendships, happens during this 3 day event. The start of the first game on Friday heralds the beginning of the 3 day festival. First class rugby in a first class environment makes the Hong Kong Sevens the ultimate event to attend.
