Ethiopia

Ethiopia has a rich history. The country is populated by a diversity of cultural groups each with their own colourful ceremonies and traditions. The food is different to what we know and their calendar is seven years behind the rest of the world, with New Year's celebrated on 11 September. The countryside is beautiful with some stretches dotted with lakes, other parts with high mountain ranges and, in between, a patchwork of cultivated fields.
